Sport and Exercise Psychology
The sport and exercise psychology minor is designed to provide an overview of the principles, practices, and theories underlying the psychology and sociology of sport and related physical activity.
Dr. Clements discusses two interesting online courses this summer. SEP 373 African Americans in Sport examines the historic role of the some of the country's most famous athletes: Mohammed Ali, Joe Frazier, Jackie Robinson, and Jack Johnson. This course also fulfills GEC requirements GO4 and GO7. SEP 420 Performance Enhancement introduces students to basic applied sport psychology that can be applied in the classroom and in sport-related jobs.
